Tsuyu Asui (蛙 あ 吹 すい 梅雨 つゆ Asui Tsuyu?), also known as the Rainy Season Hero: Froppy (梅 つ 雨 ゆ 入 い りヒーロー フロッピー Tsuyuiri Hīrō Furoppī?), was a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School, training to become a Pro Hero.

Tsuyu has a good relationship with her family, especially with her younger siblings, Samidare and Satsuki. Due to their parents, Ganma and Bell, often working away from home, Tsuyu is responsible for taking care of them by herself, doing things such as making them dinner.
