AZ-500 - Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
Apr 7, 2023 · I passed this one off the back of completing AZ-104, AZ-305 and SC-300. In addition to the knowledge gained from studying for those three exams, I used MS Learn, Pete Zerger's LinkedIn learning course and YouTube channel, John Savill's AZ-500 study playlist and exam cram, as well as Whizlabs practice exams.

Mar 19, 2022 · AZ-500 is for a cloud operations engineer, a cloud security engineer or a consultant for any of these. In fact, AZ is the cloud deployment and operations track, you might be thinking of SC which is the cloud security operations track, where OSCP and CEH might be helpful to know adversaries and their TTPs.
Passed the AZ-500 exam after my second attempt with only 4
Nov 10, 2021 · I am preparing for AZ-500 now and will get it soon. Then I want to get some security focused cert. I thought of taking AZ-104 then AZ-500 and then SC-200. I read about SC-200 and it seems more like the things related to blue team. I want to take it after AZ-900 but not sure whether it is a good plan. Any advice.Thanks. Congrats on your cert btw.
What can you do with a AZ-500 certification? : r/AZURE - Reddit
Aug 14, 2022 · If you're already working in Azure, the AZ-500 does a good job of helping glue together the security tooling that sits inside of M365 with what sits inside Azure. If you're wanting to do Incident Response, SOC, security architecture or just be a lot more security-minded in your Azure work, this is a good bit of learning.

Jan 4, 2023 · For AZ-500 didn't, had an expiring voucher and trusted on working experience and Savill... Personally wouldn't be able to follow through a 21+hr course I'd guess😅 Savill is to the point, Virtual Training days for the fundamentals usually made me fall asleep within 30min😂 Prefer MS Learn or working experience over long vids

Oct 31, 2023 · Failed AZ-304 twice, both by a couple questions. I tell ya, AZ-305 is a bear. Funny, I actually stopped studying for that test and started my AZ-500 and AZ-700, then pivoted to CCSP when I wanted to go deeper into Cloud Security. Hopefully can pass my CCSP in December, then back to AZ-500 first quarter.

Jun 1, 2023 · Imho there's really no point in starting with AZ-500. See it as an add-on to the knowledge you would need to pass AZ-104 and/or 305. I assume you know nothing about App Service, SQL Database, Key Vault, Blob Storage, Azure Networking etc. AZ-500 is about securing all these different services.
AZ-500 or SC-200 which one is easier : r/AzureCertification - Reddit
I haven’t done SC-200, but I will tell you that AZ-500 has been one of the hardest exams I’ve written in recent years, and that comes from someone who did security engineering (along with plenty other stuff) in Azure. I had case studies and a bunch of labs at the end. I finished the exam with seconds to spare. Just saying. 😉
