Yun was the friend of Kyoshi and Rangi and the earthbending pupil of Jianzhu. Talented, charismatic, and handsome, he was misidentified as the new Earth Avatar after a long and difficult search.

Apr 7, 2022 · I seem to recall the foxes either having brown eyes (in ATLA) or fully blue eyes (in Korra). The green eyes are mentioned twice, the fox shows up right after Kyoshi says farewell to Yun, and it also led her to an Air Nomad spiritual site, which Yun was said to have been very knowledgeable about.

Yun is the central antagonist of the Avatar: Kyoshi series. He appears as a major character in Avatar: The Rise of Kyoshi and as the main antagonist in Avatar: The Shadow of Kyoshi. He was a boy falsely identfied to be Kuruk's sucessor as the next Avatar.

Aug 24, 2020 · Yun was almost successful in assassinating Hei Ran, only saved by Atuat's water bending healing. In the final battle in RoK, he was able to turn earth into a liquid, using it to trap Kyoshi. Note that he was able to do this without lava bending.

One year after being discovered as the Avatar, Kyoshi travels the world subduing petty criminals and searching for Yun, her childhood friend who was misidentified as the Earth Avatar and presumed dead at the hands of a spirit named Father Glowworm.
