Arriflex 35 IIC cine camera made in 1960 by Arri, Germany. The camera uses 35mm film in 200' or 400' magazines. Arri produced four models of the Arriflex 35 II between 1946 and 1964. The 35 IIC was used to film the majority of Stanley Kubrick's 'A Clockwork Orange'.

The Arriflex 35 was the first reflex 35mm production motion picture camera, released by German manufacturer Arri in 1937. It was built around the spinning reflex twin-bladed "butterfly" mirror shutter designed by Erich Kästner, chief engineer at Arnold & Richter Cine Technik (ARRI), Arri Group, set at 45 degrees horizontally to the lens axis.

May 23, 2022 · I am considering buying an Arri 2c 35mm camera from ebay and I have some questions about the camera. Is the shutter angle 165-degree or 180-degree? Because I found the operation manual and on page 4, it says 180-degree, and on page 22, the chart starts at 165 -degree (biggest opening) - see below.

Oct 29, 2017 · Arri 2C motors drain a lot of power. Battery capacity should be a minimum of 4Ah or 4000mAh. 5Ah to 10Ah is even better. Oct 12, 2004 · I have heard of technoscope 2 perf Arri 2C cameras. Which I think is a half sized gate that shoots a scope picture on half a frame of 4 perf 35mm. I don't know anything about movement, lenses etc, but some epics like THX1138 and Leoni's Westerns were shot in this format (or sho I have read).

Offered is a very nice vintage Arriflex 35IIC (aka 2C) 35mm motion picture camera, a workhorse of feature film production in the first half of the twentieth century. All of the classic cameras of the period showed up on my shoots: the Mitchell BNCR, Panavision Silent Reflex and various Panaflex models.
