The T-80s in AFRF v0.1 represent the early versions of this tank, with the first production model T-80, the improved T-80B with uparmoured turret, improved fire control and 9K112-2 ATGM system, the T-80BK with additional radio and navigation equipment, and the T-80BV and BVK, which are T-80B and BK with the addition of Kontakt-1 ERA.

Since 1990 the T-80U also features a new 1,250 hp engine. In game the T-80U shares the same weapons with the T-80 but is armed additionally with 9M119 Kobra anti-tank missiles (mounted in a 9K119 "Refleks" guidance system).

Mar 19, 2011 · Armour wise all T-80 (T-80A is most heavily armoured in the pack) are weak v M1A1 like they are in real life only the T-80U varients are close to the M1A1 in terms in armour, these will be in a future pack but until then you will need to fight smart ^_^
