Nov 27, 2019 · Seems from your experience the front lift is a bit weak if one doesn't use helper springs to lighten the load. I have a big blower ( non Ariens ) that I intend to modify and install on mine in the near future. I will certainly make sure I have a lot of the lifting weight counter balanced with helper springs.

Jun 23, 2019 · According to tractordata, Ariens made the S-14h from 77-78, and the GT14 from 79-82. I have no idea what the circuit board is, luckily I haven’t had to dig into the wiring much on my machines. Apparently the early models lack a lot of safety stuff that later models have, which it sounds like after 40 years start to cause electrically headaches.
