Area Zero (Japanese: エリアゼロ Area Zero) is an area located within the Great Crater of Paldea at the center of the Paldea region. It is initially accessed from the Zero Gate. After the player has entered Area Zero for the first time, they may also enter it by falling through the clouds over the Great Crater of Paldea.

Area Zero is located deep within the Great Crater of Paldea and is accessible after finishing the three main story questlines: Victory Road, Path of Legends, and Starfall Street.

Within Area Zero is a verdant, ethereal landscape inhabited by exceptional powerful Pokémon and also bizarre creatures known as Paradox Pokémon. How to Enter Area Zero?¶ The only way to enter Area Zero is via the Zero Gate, located on the highlands south-east from Medali (where the Normal Gym is).
