Nov 19, 2022 · Take window squeegee and keep washing it until it's really clean. Then take auto widow cleaner of any sort with microfiber to finish it off. The reason you get major fogging is oils and residue on the windows. The more anti fog juice, more likely you're just adding to the chemical slurry on your window. Just did it to my wife's car, never fogs up.

Dec 4, 2015 · Rain-X Anti-Fog works very well as long as the window is very spotless when you apply it and you apply a very thin layer and buff it quickly. Break either rule and you're in hell as it's very, very difficult to remove, which is why it gets poor reviews. With that being said, in a street car there's really no substitute for warm, dry air (i.e. A/C).

Jan 24, 2022 · I run the car heater and usually drive around to warm up the car but mainly to dry it out (10-20%) and about 60-70F. Humidity has been between 50-75% when I wake up and so I take the window covers off some of the windows and then turn the heaters up and drive around a bit until it’s around 30% and it’s good all day.

Feb 19, 2015 · Anti-fog works a little bit, but it's very hard to not leave streaks, and it still gets condensation if its really heavy. My "solution" was to always keep microfiber towels on the passenger seat and blast the AC with the heat on.

Dec 30, 2023 · Get bad fog at times, to the point of having to pullover. Apparently its a "know issue", but if course that means nothing. Tried rain x, but always leaves a haze. I could be applying it wrong, but it doesn't seem rocket science. Regardless, any recommendations on application or brands would be appreciated. Thx

Dec 6, 2021 · If so, my second question would be: My car has heated side mirrors, but they work mainly for fog and don't improve much visibility during rain, so would the heating element compromise the plastic film? Maybe make it yellow out, melt or something? Thanks in advance.

bro, you got a transparent sticker for your side mirror. honestly, what did you expect? just roll the window down and spend a whopping 2 seconds rubbing off the condensation, or since you arent mechanically inclined...save your 12 dollars and put that towards a car with heated side mirrors.

Nov 10, 2019 · Rain-X makes an anti-fog thing too that works decently if the glass is Very Clean and you follow the instructions properly. Otherwise a quick blast of normal heater for about 30 seconds will also clear it up if you don't let it get too far fogged.
