AG M/42 Weapon Specializations Discussion : r/BattlefieldV - Reddit
Dec 29, 2018 · For the AG M/42 I went with higher velocity bullets to help me take advantage of its damage fall off. I feel that the only reason to use the AG M/42 over the M1A1 carbine is because it has 4 bullet to kill (or 2 if landing head shots) out at a very long range.

Mar 11, 2020 · Go to “Your Company” and select your Assault Class, regardless of faction, and click upon the option to replace weapons with the one you currently have. If you move down the list of Battle Rifles and Assault Rifles, you should find all your locked ones at the bottom of the list and the AG M/42 should be among them.

Dec 27, 2018 · the ag m42 is really like a mix of gewehr43 and m1a1, but it feels mediocre to them. for now i cant upgrade it due to the CC problem, but even when i do, i think the gewehr 43 will be the better choice. the sound of the gun is very good

Why you're sleeping on the AG m/42 and a discussion on semi-autos
The AG m/42 is similar to the M1A1. Much in the same way that the G1-5 is the ease of use mirror to the Turner, the M1A1 is the ease of use mirror to the AG. Stock, the AG can be a nightmare to use. Using two stripper clips for 10 rounds on a dreadfully long reload, if you're caught out reloading you will die.
