Apr 26, 2019 · I'm familiar with the Yamaha and Technics, but I'd never heard any ADS speakers. The L700's were about 22" tall and close to 40lbs each, and have rubber surrounds, so I was interested. I welcome any comments about them, mostly if they are keepers.

May 31, 2016 · There is a pair of L700 speakers by me for 80 bucks. I have wanted to try out some larger ADS speakers (I had L400's) but I have heard mixed reviews about these. People say they are a 2 way instead of a 2.5 way and the woofers don't play nice with each other.

Apr 10, 2005 · While in an MTM array this can sound quite good, I believe the L700 is the only MMT design ever produced. I think they would be a good candidate for crossover redesign and turn them into a 2.5-way. That would be a pretty simple & straight forward mod.

Oct 22, 2004 · I'd be most interested in information about the most popular, most easily obtainable, and affordable L7XX and L8XX three-way speaker series. The 810's are supposedly fantastic speakers, and a clean pair can be had on ebay for under $300.
