To conveniently purchase tickets for ACE, travelers can use the ACE Rail mTickets app. You can obtain paper tickets from approved ACE ticket vendors and at many ACE stations such as Stockton Lathrop/Manteca, Tracy, Livermore (located at the LAVTA/Wheels Transit Center), Pleasanton, Fremont, Great America, and San Jose.

The Stockton ACE station is the first stop on the ACE route heading west. Rich in railroad history, the City of Stockton is host to three historic train depots, and this iconic Southern Pacific Station is the home to ACE and the San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission.

ACE was founded in May 1997 through a collaboration between the SJRRC, VTA, and ACMA. Connecting the Central Valley to the Bay Area through train travel via the Altamont.

Jan 14, 2025 · ACE passengers can expect traffic control and blocked-off parking areas while the work is on-going. Signage will be positioned to block off areas where the work will occur. Violations will require towing to allow for the work to continue as planned. Station improvements to be completed in September 2025.
