Feb 26, 2018 · Just picked up an RT 75 and I’m not sure about it. I think my PT 70 is a better machine to operate. Better view Of the bucket. Quieter, etc. The 70 has been a maintenance nightmare. Hopefully the 75 won’t be. One thing I know my PT 70 will go places no other brand would even think about. This is why I put up with the maintenance issues.

Oct 11, 2017 · Yes the CAT MTL series ending in 7 (ie 287) is an ASV undercarriage. There are are 3 or 4 design generations. When ASV (All Season Vehicles) started up Cat did not have a line of CTLs. Cat was either an early investor or partner. The older machines had Cat engines. The ASV morphed from snowmobile tech.

Jun 28, 2012 · Once again, I can buy an entire undercarriage kit for right at $6500 and the most expensive kit for the 100hp ASV machine is less than $10k so I can't see the argument for the costs you've seen, at least from my perspective. I do very much agree with your advice to the gentleman to talk to current ASV owners such as myself and others.

Mar 29, 2016 · The most serious omission IMO is the lack of ground clearance numbers, since ASV has always had the largest ground clearance of all SSL/CTLs. And a length & height is also missing. Engines in the 4 CTL models, RT-30, RT-60, RT-75 & RT-120, are listed, respectively, as Perkins 403D-15, Perkins 404D-22T, Cummins QSF2.8, & Cummins QSF3.8.

But in my continuing quest for info on the 75, I have learned from the ASV sales rep for the NE that: - They no longer offer a rear hitch on their units. The older ASV/Terex units had a built-in receiver hitch on the rear.

Apr 23, 2008 · I have an asv positrack 2810. I bought it used with 600 hours. I have not had any problems with the track and I now have 1200 hours on it. The machine is aewesome and can do so many different things from concrete removal to trail cutting. I think these things are fantastic in the woods. I have just encountered a problem with a planetary gear leak.
