The AOR M21 is a new assault rifle developed by the AOR design team for the Hellenic Army, mainly to replace the aging G3. [1] The design was started in September 2019 and completed by March 2020. However, the pandemic started by this time meaning that the official presentation to the Army General Staff was in July 2020. [2]

Most of the heavy equipment and weaponry of the Hellenic Army is either of foreign manufacture, or of foreign design, license built in Greece, in addition to few domestically developed equipment. Countries of origin include the United States, France, Germany, Russia and others.

Jul 7, 2020 · The design of the AOR rifle began in September 2019 and was completed in March 2020. The design consists of a modern 5.56 mm NATO caliber carbine sample, labeled as M21-5, but the rifle can also be offered with 7.62 mm NATO caliber, labeled as M21-7.

Jul 7, 2020 · Το σχέδιο αφορά ένα σύγχρονο δείγμα αραβίδας με ταξινόμηση Μ21-5 διαμετρήματος 5,56 mm NATO αλλά το όπλο μπορεί να προσφερθεί και με ταξινόμηση Μ21-7 στο διαμέτρημα 7,62 mm NATO. Από πλευράς λοιπών τεχνικών χαρακτηριστικών το όπλο μπορεί να παραχθεί σε υποεκδόσεις με διαφορετικά μήκη κάννης για την κάλυψη διαφορετικών επιχειρησιακών απαιτήσεων.

Παρουσιάσθηκε σε εκπροσώπους του Γενικού Επιτελείου Στρατού το Εθνικό Όπλο που σχεδίασε η Σχεδιαστική Ομάδα Άορ. Σύμφωνα με το σχετικό δελτίο του η σχεδίαση του όπλου ξεκίνησε τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2019 και ολοκληρώθηκε τον Μάρτιο του 2020.

This is my most recent project, the AOR-M21. As you can see the model isn't yet fully completed but i have chosen to upload it simply to show my process of modelling rather than just my finished projects.
