Nov 8, 2021 · The 5800X Processor Maximum Operating Temperature is 90C and does the same thing as the GPU card when it reaches its Maximum Operating Temperature. In my opinion, I suggest to keep the processor's temperature at 80C or below.

My pc. 5800x. Msi x570 tomahawk. 32Gb crucial ballistix 3600MHz ram. Noctua dh15 chromax cooler. I just installed the 5800x 2 days ago in place of a 3600xt. Temps single core test - 55 degrees average. Multi core test - 76 degrees average. Peaked at 78. Seeing you reach 90 with similar cooling as I have made me concerned. I’m not so much now.

Running Windows 10, all appeared to be working unitil I tried to watch YouTube and the video started stuttering. Dec 23, 2022 · 5800x's should land somewhere around 4.6-4.7ghz max all core OC. Haven't messed around with PBO/undervolting or anything so can't help with that. Mine tops out at 4.625 at something over 1.3vcore. It runs extremely hot at these settings regardless of cooling solution so I daily 4.375 @ 1.23125 and get virtually identical gaming performance.

Plus the CPU's Maximum Operating Temperature is 90c which means the CPU had started to throttle or would have started to throttle once it reached 90c.
