Aug 11, 2016 · After quickly going through the various ACDSee created folders and files, I don't see anything that looks like a language file. I wonder if that is embedded in the registry somewhere? Tech support might know a quick and easy way.

Apr 22, 2020 · In ACDSee Ultimate 2020, Manage Mode, Thumbnail View an image will have various icons/symbols in various colors in the lower left of the image. Where do I get a definition of those symbols? I need to know what function/information has been applied to that image. Thanks.

This is a whole series of files that the ACDSee program uses to store all the information about your image collection. All of your "tagging" (added ACDSee metadata), and all of your thumbnails for Manage Mode and Photos Mode are stored in the Catalog (database). The word "Catalog" is also a verb which describes the action of updating your database.

Dec 19, 2023 · So I upgraded to 2024, launched it, navigated to a folder and it immediately attempted to start running its AI scan. Crash. Screenshot attached. I thought maybe it was a fluke. So I ran it again. This time, I didn't do anything - I just let it sit on my Pictures folder, and it again starts running AI on nearly 100k photos

Apr 9, 2020 · I take pictures of small glass objects (actually toothpick holders) and need to either darken or lighten the background. I have tried many available tools but not successfully. I was able to do this in Picasa and need to do it with ACD. I am attaching a picture.

Apr 9, 2020 · Hi Edvard - Excellent questions -- right on target. Excellent sample picture by the way. Perfect stop-action for the horse and rider (nice sharp focus), plus a slight blur of the background as you were no doubt moving the camera to get the shot.

In ACDSee Ultimate version, e.g. ACDSee Ultimate 2018, you can first create a new image with the transparent background (instead of the default white background) in the manage mode. Next add text in the edit mode and then adjust the opacity slider if needed to have the text with a bit translucent and fading effect.
