May 7, 2019 · Hey all, I have a 2011 328i Xdrive. I replaced the battery myself (with a non BMW battery) and ever since I've had the airbag light on and a passenger restraint warning. I brought it to a local shop and they scanned and found the code 93b2 - battery safety terminal. I checked to make sure everything is plugged in correctly and not loose.

Jun 15, 2015 · I've disconnected the door panel air bag, which brought a 7th code, connected the air bag & was able to clear that code. Check the BST cable . Was this car in an accident? Did you replace those parts mentioned in the fault codes?

Oct 6, 2017 · Is the code for too low or too high resistance? For test purposes you can remove the plug and put 3 ohm resistor to simulate SBT. A common problem with these cars is also the passenger seat mat. The error may come and go too.
