Aug 26, 2020 · Refitting my 89 RM80K. Almost done. Having carb issues. Float bowl overflow. Purchased All Ballz carb kit, but it came with a different needle than what is on the bike (rubber tit vs solid metal <- OEM) and it is longer than the original.

Feb 20, 2020 · That is the 86-88 chassis better picture of the engine would help. In 89 it got a whole new engine design with a power valve. It definitely isn't that year or later just from what I can see. the rm80 didn't finally get a rear disc until 1990. Edited February 21, 2020 by SmokinJoe

Jun 3, 2008 · All good and switching carbs doesn't change the problem. It's great from 0 to 1/2-3/4 throttle and it'll pull the front wheel in 1st through 3rd even with my big a$$ on it sitting in the seat normally. The problem comes at WOT where it actually goes slower.
