What can you tell me about 88K, watercraft operator : r/army
Jun 8, 2022 · The Army had program for awhile opening up watercraft warrants to none feeder MOS’s. From what I’ve heard is a lot of guys go 88K/88L and leave once they finish their contract, or finish 20 years enlisted as they can go into the civilian market and make significantly more money and deal with none of the Army nonsense with their qualifications.

There are some WO opportunities too. You'd be a crewman on one of the Army's small boats. Not much out there on 88K, but you can look up the boats that you'd be on.

Go 88k, if you like it drop the packet to go 880a or 881a warrant officer and continue being one of the few but badass mariners in the army. Coast guard is awesome, it’s the only branch I’ll openly admit saying I wish I joined instead of the army. But my understand is for people actually in theses faring career, army is better experience because you’ll be literally running shop ...
88 Kilo? : r/army - Reddit
Jun 23, 2023 · Either 88K or 88L and you’ll join a hidden gem of the army. I was an 88L, stationed at Eustis, deployed to the Persian gulf - missions all over the place: UAE, Oman,Bahrain, Qatar, Djibouti. You can be stationed at Eustis or in Hawaii, with other cool missions to Australia, Seattle, Savannah, up and down the east and west coasts supporting higher sustainment missions. As a Kilo, you’ll be ...
