Feb 22, 2012 · Recently started looking for a 1982-1983 KX125 as project and there don't seem to many out there. Anyone have a lead on one? From what I recall KX's were just starting be decent around this time and they did not sell in numbers like the other big 3 did. I have looked for an 84 and don't see them at all either.

Dec 4, 2007 · It's a 40 year old dirt bike. It will be hard to get some stuff for it especially certain engine bits like sought after cylinders engine cases etc. Basically don't spend more than it might be worth in parts if parted out. Overall condition is really the deciding factor.

Jun 14, 2014 · Very nice KX, I love my 83 125. I run the same Suzuki forks as you on my 81 Maico 490, with a 465 Yamaha drum brake for vintage, and the RM Disk racing against modern bikes. Nice work on your KX, glad to see your gonna ride it like it was meant to be!
