Jul 22, 2024 · I can't find too much info on these, but here's what I do have. 81mm Brandt practice round. French design, used by many countries. These would have used a pressed-in ignition cartridge similar to a 12ga shotgun shell, hence the non-threaded tail orifice. Pre-WW2, as this style of tail fin was replaced by the M3 type early on.
