Looks like the little rifle will easily and quietly take out a jackrabbit in zero degree weather. Why did you cut the stock in half? It's a 'Papoose' , it's made that way. It's a takedown rifle. Jul 6, 2021 · I'm a huge fan of the Papoose Model 70. I've owned three over time. Two out of the three were like new and have run flawlessly. I love the simplicity and ease of takedown. I just simply twist my barrel to one side when tightening down and it maintains zero very well for my cheap red dot. Great rifle and great example. Thanks for sharing OP!
