Feb 28, 2017 · I read a piece on The Firearms Blog about using 7.62x39 as a replacement for the .30-30 Winchester as a light .30 cal load in hunting rifles, namely for short action rifles (for reference, the ballistics of the .30-30 actually tend to be …

May 5, 2024 · Well i'm just one guy, but I started hunting deer with 7.62x39 almost 35 years ago, and have taken a LOT of 'em over the years, so I do know first hand how it responds in animals. Which Powder? 7.62x39 for AK47 using Berry's 123 SP...
Dec 15, 2013 · Reason for reloading the 7.62x39: 1. Cheaper than Tula and I just don't like shooting steel cases and bimetalic jacketed bullets. 2. I like reloading 3. I melted a piece of car weather striping to the dust cover so my cases don't get dinged up, this works very well. What's you load for this specific bullet and OAL that still cycles the action?

Looks like the old Chinese ammo that I used to shoot back in the late eighties. The box says non-corrosive and I am 90% sure that the...
Killing power: 5.56 vs. 7.62x39 - AK Rifles
Jun 5, 2006 · If you take a 7.62x39 between the eyes, you are probably dead. Net analysis: Shot placement makes a lot more difference than the ammo you are using.
