I tested every new method + Blake2sp, XXH64 like this: 7z a -thash file.blake2sp folder and checked like this: 7z t -thash file.blake2sp folder Everything is fine, but why does 7-zip use in this case Linux path separator / for file.hash instead of the Windows one \ ?

May 27, 2024 · Hello, I'm currently encountering a problem with a .zip archive made using 7zip. Whenever I try to unzip it using the context menu (right click -> 7zip -> extract here) or using a bat script (or cmd) "C:\Program Files\7-Zip\7z.exe" e -y archive.zip -bb3 -slt I don't have any logs explaining(*) what is wrong with the process.

It allows to avoid the failures for cases with big number of volumes, bacause there is a limitation for number of open files allowed for a single program in Linux and macOS.
