Apr 14, 2014 · You couldn't see a difference from 2ms to 6ms, as it'd be physically impossible to see a difference at 144 fps, which is the max any current monitors can display. The framerate would need to be at least 167 fps before 6ms became lower than the framerate.

Mar 15, 2016 · IPS is all about color accuracy so it'll look rather rich with 1000:1 contrast ratio and it's 6ms which isn't horrible, but isn't the best either. It's known that (except for really newer models) IPS is known for its high color accuracy but isn't the fastest. But 6ms isn't so slow to completely ruin a gaming experience in my opinion.

Jan 18, 2014 · I'm currently torn between the BenQ rhl2455hm which has a 1ms response time but is a tn panel or the AOC i2369vm which has an ips panel which I pave heard has a lot better picture but only has 6ms response time. Which one should I get. It would be primarily used for gaming and I usually play sandbox style games like arms, dayz and rust.

This data was discovered using the statistic command in-game (usually its F8 or Shift-F8). please help me get my 1ms refresh rate as I am eager to see for myself if it actually makes any difference! thanks.

Jun 12, 2019 · Yes 1ms or 6ms gtg is a massive difference. It’s all to do with ghosting based on how current monitors work. Going back, on a CRT monitor, a single frame is flashed up briefly on screen, so there may be a period where the monitor isn’t displaying anything before the next refresh occurs and the next frame is briefly displayed.
