Feb 3, 2022 · 56 or 54. I'm 5 11 and I have rode 54s 56s and 58s. The 58 Is a long way out there. Pretty uncomfortable. Endurance bike I run a 56. Race bike a 54 cm. The BEST THING YOU CAN DO IS GET A BIKE FIT BEFORE YOU BUY!!!! this will tell you what brands and sizes will fit you best. A bike fit is very important.

Jul 13, 2023 · Depending on your inseam I’d tend toward the 61 over the 58. I’m 6’2” with a 34.5” inseam and ride a 58 cm Gen3 Domane that was a little small for me, but a good fitting and a slightly longer stem got me sorted out. I also have an old Miyata that’s a 61 cm and fit me better without having to swap any parts.

I rode both the 56 cm and 58cm and the 56 instantly felt a bit cramped and too small. I was convinced 56 was the right size, but ended up sizing up to the 58. I can touch my toes to the ground while seated and there is some clearance when I stand over the top tube.

I'm right in between the size 58 and 60 heights. Do you all think those 2 centimeters are enough to ruin my bike fit and make me less comfortable? Thanks.

Sep 1, 2020 · Used to ride 58cm frames mostly, but currently riding a m/l Giant, equivalent to a 56. Have ridden a 54cm Guerciotti in the past, but that frame had a long top tube for it's size. You can probably fit a 56cm, perhaps with a 1-2 cm longer stem, but you'll want to keep a couple spacers to get proper bar height.

Nov 25, 2021 · That size frame could have anywhere from a 57cm-58.5cm top tube in my experience. I’m 183cm and while I ride a 58cm, my 58 Domane actually has a top tube of just under 57cm. For road I’ve found that anything over 57.5 feels a little big (my opinion only) and anything under 56.5 usually feels a bit small.
