Sep 12, 2009 · The AR-10 shoots a .762 rifle round. I would think it would be more cost effective to take a current pistol round carbine and adapt it to fire the 40S&W. Sort of like the modifications Glock made to the G-17 and called it a 40 cal with the model 22.

Sep 15, 2020 · CMMG Banshee in .40 S&W is what you want. Hard to beat. CMMG also makes conversion magazines that fit standard AR lowers and I have seen them in 9mm, 5.7X28, and .22. You can check with them to see if they make a .40 magazine conversion.

Aug 30, 2006 · Think about that for a minute. You want to shoot .40 from a gun designed for 9x19. The .40 operates at much higher pressures than 9x19. Unless you want serious problems I suggest you don't try it. On a side note, Taurus revolvers are great, thier semi-auto's are horrible.

Aug 5, 2018 · The .40 is gross and you should be ashamed of yourself. Other than that I’ve had great experiences with my Kel-Tec Sub2000 in .40. Many would say the same of .40 and Kel-Tec so it’s a logical match. CX4, Kriss, and Circle 10 are all other answers off the top of my head, though I’ve owned none.

Aug 18, 2014 · 40 Cal PCC TNW ASR JRC Both of those come in .40 and use Glock Mags. Both will convert inexpensively between 9mm and 40 cal. I own one of each and both are 100% GTG. The JRC is very accurate and trouble free.
