Solution - 7.62 Nagant Revolver brass. Process - run Nagant brass through FL sizer die, trim to length, inside and outside ream to remove any flashing, and load.

Jan 29, 2018 · I was looking at a few articles and videos online and saw that some shooters use .32-20 brass to reload their Nagant M1895 revolvers by running the brass though a 7.62 Nagant pistol round resizing die and if need be, thinning the rim of the .32-20 case down a little.

Nov 12, 2023 · As scarce as 32-20 are now I would think that's a bad source of bullet jackets because once you shoot those 20 swaged bullets, you may not get any more 32-20 brass to make bullets like them for who knows how long? I'm sure a lot of guys would love to buy/trade for them.

Nov 27, 2023 · Continuing on the lack of availability/high cost of 32-20 brass. A couple of weeks ago I paid $29/100 for new Starline 32-20 brass. I received my order in about 6 days. That same 100 cases is listed on Gunbroker for $170. What a racket!

Jun 25, 2016 · Really no big trick to it! Buy 32-20 brass from Star Line. Anneal necks in a darkened room until dull red. Use swage lube on cases sparingly so they will not stick while running them into your 25-20 F/L die with the stem removed. Will loose just a few per hundred, but easiest, simplest method I do. Have done about 10,000 of these locally.

Jun 6, 2024 · The 25-20 started life as a necked down 32-20. However, today, the 25-20 has different set of specification for the base and body, from the 32-20. If you analyze necking the 25-20 to 30 cal, you will basically find that you get an elongated straight wall 30 carbine with a rim. I use 32-20 and 25-20 brass both to create this cartridges.

Jan 30, 2024 · Two other things you should do before forming 25-20 are run the 32-20 brass through a sizing die to make sure the necks are perfectly round and anneal the necks. It also helps to run the brass into the 25-20 sizing die in increments, and spreading the lube around between increments. I've been using this method for years and never ruined one.

Mar 4, 2024 · The .32-20 brass fire-forms to a rimmed .30 Carbine case which I can also use in my .30 Carbine Ruger. Its cylinder throats are honed to .312 so I can use either cast or jacketed bullets of that diameter.
