In 30XX you must master boss attack patterns and exploit their weaknesses because the fights take unbearably long and if you can't dodge one attack pattern you'll see it another 20 times before the fight is over. 20XX unlocked new stuff that would show up in the game. 30XX adopted the more standard "start game with +20HP" style unlocks.

Jul 15, 2024 · Speaking for myself, 20XX is kinda difficult to go back to after 30XX, despite me loving it at the time. It does go down to 70% off during sales, so for that price it may be worth picking up, to see for yourself what it was like if anything (and it is still a good game in isolation, 30XX just improves upon it in almost every way).

If you can't find any information in those spots, you're alwasy free to ask within the discord itself. I don't really expect to add a story segment to this guide atleast until full release, which is coming quite close now.

Mar 19, 2024 · 30XX doesn't have workshop support to begin with but I had a download link for the mod directly posted in here as well as links to the artists DA for crediting purposes. Steam mods took offense to that because they couldn't "verify the safety of these links" and completely nuked the old guide from orbit. Didn't even let me fix the problem.
