After fine tuning, I’ve not been comfortable with the extremely high memory temps and have had to throttle memory speed and power back to the point of only 75mh/s and it still averages around 96-98F. Was reaching limit 110F with original settings after only a few minutes.

There was a pretty annoying noise which I chalked up to my DDC pump being loud and running at full tilt, however it turns out that it's the graphics card coil whining.

Mar 31, 2021 · My experience went smooth on the Asus 3090 TUF OC. I updated my Nvidia video drivers first to the latest one out today, reboot, updated vBIOS, then enabled Re-sizeable BAR option in my MSI x570 BIOS. Hope this helps some of you wondering the same needs to be done on other 3000 series with dual BIOS.

Jan 4, 2022 · Asus TUF 3090 1850Mhz @ 0.85v Tested with Heaven (lost 1% vs stock) and Superposition (gained 2%) for a few hours. At 0.825v or higher clocks the card would crash at the dragon statue in heaven. Most importantly, the coil whine goes from bad to tolerable.
