Some key questions: What is your actual anticipated load? Is the 300 feet inside, outside or some of each? If outside, how hard to dig a trench for conduit?

I used to work as a tech for Comcast. The longest drop a cable provider will run is 350’ some are 300’, with RG-11. If you’re further away than that they may offer to run hardline closer to your house but again, depending on the provider they may charge you for this. It’s probably easier and cheaper to just get Starlink.

Jul 5, 2022 · Even if it went 300 feet to someplace you could plug in a switch and then continue on with more conduit. You could still pull out the CAT6 cable t replace with Fiber. or run both.
