Jan 18, 2016 · 1440p smart tvs don't exist. The best you can is get a 4k 40 inch tv as it will give you a better resolution and the ability to get 120hz at 1080p.

Mar 11, 2017 · There are 720p tv's 1080p tv's and 4K tv's... I have a 1080p tv, and want to upgrade. 4K tv's are let's say "out of reach." So I was wondering if there are any tv's that are 1440p and if so can you provide a link and if not why wouldn't they have 1440p's as a buffer from 1080 to 4K? Thanks!

Oct 2, 2016 · My active signal resolution basically wants to stay at 4k (the TV's native resolution), while the desktop resolution changes to what I set it to in the "Display settings" page (or even the nVidia control panel) Why is this a problem? Two reasons: First is, instead of enjoying 4:4:4 chroma at 1080/1440p HDR, I'm forced to endure 4:2:2.

Feb 9, 2002 · Some TV's and monitors can stretch 1080p to 4k with no interpolation at all and that would be the "sharpest" option available (even if in reality its actually less detailed than resolutions above it despite the blur) below 4k, but for 1440p and any other resolution inbetween 4k and 1080 that kind of stretching is not an option.

Jun 16, 2016 · A coworker was complaining during lunch about his TV being advertised as both 4k and 120Hz, but really could only do one or the other at a time (4k @ 60Hz OR 2k @120Hz). I figure if I could get my hands on a monitor like that it would be the perfect compromise, since my hardware can't do anything 4k @120 fps anyway (Single GTX 1080).

Jun 30, 2003 · Please could do a test for me? could you set your 4k tv to run 1440p (2560x1440) in the NVIDIA control panel and tell me what the refresh rate is set to? I can't pass 30hz at this resolution.
