Oct 27, 2020 · The CMY-colors are for printing where the color is on a white paper and the light reflects on the paper (subtractive color mix). In this cube it is light that shines through and then it is RGB that is to be used (Additive color mix).

Sep 6, 2020 · A demonstration of subtractive color mixing with a CMY cube. Opposing sides are colored with cyan, magenta or yellow film, when white light passes through two sides of differing colors both wavelengths are subtracted resulting in either red, green or blue.
