This stepped worked for me, try logging in with your EMAIL and not your username to login on Spotify. Where it says Login, put your email in and password. And see if that works.

Mar 5, 2024 · I logged out from my Spotify on my phone, and try to re-login. it will ask you to login, where it has an option to login with username. So I typed in my user name, and it sends a link to my old email which thanksgod still works. I use that link to login to my Spotify app, at this time it asks if I want to add a password.

Dec 2, 2015 · You probably are having the same problem I did. Log onto your email and see if Spotify has recently contacted you. The person responsible for your payments may have cancelled your premium. If you do not have premium, go onto the computer on spotify web player and see if you can log onto your account on a different device.

Dec 29, 2024 · It's possible she used a different email address for signing up to Spotify then. She can try using this guide to locate her account. If she still has her old phone and hasn't erased it yet, she can open the Spotify app, and go into Settings > Account, where she'll be able to see her account's username. Let me know how it goes! 🙂
