Hitoshi Shinso (心 しん 操 そう 人 ひと 使 し Shinsō Hitoshi?), also known as the Hypnosis Hero: Nighthide (ヒプノシスヒーロー ナイトハイド Hipunoshisu Hīrō Naitohaido?), was a student at U.A. High School, attending Class 1-C of the Department of General Education before being transferred into Class 2-A of the school's Hero Course. [6]

Hitoshi Shinso (心操 人使, Shinsō Hitoshi) is the supporting anti-hero in My Hero Academia. He is a student at U.A. High School, taking General Studies but after the events of the final war he will be joining Class 2-A in the hero studies program replacing Yuga Aoyama.

In Junior High, Hitoshi Shinso was constantly told that due to the nature of his Brainwashing Quirk, he was more suited to becoming a villain. Many were wary of Hitoshi's Quirk and how he could control others with it, potentially against their will, and he was self-conscious over this.

Brainwashing (洗 せん 脳 のう Sennō?) is the Quirk used by Hitoshi Shinso. Hitoshi activating his Quirk on Izuku. Brainwashing allows the user to put their target in a state where they are forced to obey all of the user's commands. In order to activate this power, the user needs their target to verbally respond to something they say. [1] .

Hitoshi Shinso is one of the lesser known characters of Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia manga, but while he might be lesser known, his story is still quite impactful.
