Midsouth Association of Independent Schools - Wikipedia
The Midsouth Association of Independent Schools (MAIS) is a consortium of schools in Mississippi, Tennessee, Louisiana and Arkansas. It is responsible for accreditation of its member private schools as well as governing athletic competition for its member schools. It was founded in 1968 by a group of segregation academies.
The Mission of the Midsouth Association of Independent Schools is to certify educational integrity of member schools and to promote the development and freedoms of independent schools in the Mid-South.

For each matchup leading to the championship the highest seeded team will be the HOME team and will serve as the host of the game. It is noted that the #1 ranked team is the highest seed, the #2 ranked team is the next highest seed, etc.
