Jan 14, 2008 · Well, given the same model year with a TDi sedan vs. a TDi wagon, I'd say there is a relevant basis of comparison. However, the EPA certainly has modified it's test protocol making it essentially impossible to compare a 1996 TDi wagon to a 2009 Jetta diesel wagon. Fuelly is a decent point of reference for real world numbers.

Apr 4, 2015 · I just went through this with my 04 Golf. VR6 front springs with VW spacers and Jetta wagon rear springs. Koni FSDs front/back. New LCA bushings, mounts, strut bearings. Much better clearance now and the ride is firm, smooth, quiet. Love it.

Dec 26, 2012 · Thank you Robert for posting these. I printed the "2012 Model Year Golf TDI" without a problem. It is much easier to visualize which items are required for each service interval using these charts than having to compare lists on multiple pages in the "USA Warranty and Maintenance" manual that was provided with the vehicle purchase.

Jan 16, 2010 · For the previous generation Jetta Wagon VW made Towing Package Springs that raised ride height about 3/4". There is a thread on fitment here, and IDParts sells them here. I wonder if a similar item is available for the new JSW aka Golf Estate, Variant, etc?

Dec 27, 2001 · The lawsuit covered a variety of Audi/VW vehicles from 1997 to 2009 sunroof drains, including the 2009 Jetta A5 vehicles. More than an isolated problem. Unfortunately I believe the time limit has passed to go after VW for claims on this lawsuit. As I mentioned, the DIY repair is not that difficult and will take a couple of hours to do all four.

Jun 27, 2001 · On the Golf sedan, Golf/Bora/Jetta Variant/Estate/wagon, and Passat Variant/Estate/wagon models the rear washer nozzle is supposed to be in a fixed position. If yours rotates with the wiper, or you get no washer fluid out of the nozzle, you have a problem. The latter case may be that the water tube through the wiper shaft has snapped off.
