Mar 27, 2013 · I have a dash cam that said max 64gb micro sd, since SDHC is 32gb max, SDXC is 64gb+ I put in a 128gb memory card without any issues, uses all the 128gb space. Just need to have it formatted corectly for your dash cam. However each dash cam is different, some can have certain locks i guess placed by the manufacturer

So I'm looking for either 64 GB or more likey 128 GB micro SD cards that are reliable, fast enough, and cost-effective that can preferably be bought from Amazon UK.

I got the "microsd card reader mode" screen and looked for a solution. It was here on DashCamTalk. I used a outlet USB connecting cable and it worked. Oct 26, 2016 · I inserted the Micro SD card into the computer before inserting it into the A119 dash cam to ensure it was working. I then formatted using the dash cam. I went for a drive this morning (and made sure it was recording), and removed the micro sd card when I got home. I inserted the card into an SD card reader, and I get nothing.

I raised a piece of J shaped metal holding the locking mechanism, put the sd card in and jammed a piece of plastic zip ties to hold the card in locking position. Then, just put back all of the components but make sure to put the board at an angle because the sd card is in the slot. Now the camera is working fine.

Feb 24, 2015 · having to push it in 1-2mm past "flush" or the body of the camera - that's normal. the only device i have with a microsd card slot that doesn't click in below the surface/body of the slot is a multi-card reader. in that, the card still sticks out from the slot about halfway and does not click in. just like all the rest of the slots.
