Nov 12, 2024 · Every shot was within a few hundred RPM on spin, 1ish mph, and ball flight/trajectory/etc were all very close. In might be a stretch but the staff actually believe the R50 may have been more accurate in some cases due to the conditions (night time/cold/etc). Quality of Home Tee Hero ($99/yr) vs. FSX courses (no charge, except have to buy other courses){Garmin R50 manual implies that the resident Home Tee Hero graphics quality is not as high definition as 3rd party software}.

Nov 12, 2024 · To use a Garmin Apporach Golf watch you need NO subscription to the HTH membership. This membership is mostly for simulation reasons. BUT if you have / or want to buy a Approach S70 golf watch then you get a goody from the HTH membership, the watch will show you the green slopes if the course provides them to Garmin.

Mar 13, 2025 · This was a big step up for Garmin. Most reports say that it is among the most accurate launch monitors, but there are also complaints - perhaps faulty units or other factors (as there are complaints and optimal use-applications with all launch monitors).

Nov 12, 2024 · Looking at reviews comparing to trackman and GCquad the R50 is not accurate. Also from a Garmin Fenix 8 owner, Garmin put little resources into software improvements and are next to useless at dealing with user feedback. Check out their own forums to see problems reported 5 years ago that are still not even attempted to be fixed.
