Paradise Kiss is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Ai Yazawa. It appeared as a serial in Shodensha 's fashion magazine Zipper [ja] from March 1999 to March 2003, with its chapters collected in five volumes.

Jun 4, 2011 · Hayasaka Yukari is a high school student who has become tired of her life of constant schooling. She then comes across a group of student fashion designers in need of a model for their "Paradise Kiss" clothing label.

Yukari suddenly finds herself flung into the roller-coaster life of the fashion world, guided by George, art-snob extraordinaire. In a glamorous makeover of body, mind and soul, she is turned from a hapless bookworm into her friends own exclusive clothing model.

Yukari is a typical high school student on the fast track to attending a university, but her boring life leaves much to be desired; that is, until a motley crew of fashion design students ask her to model their new clothing line: Paradise Kiss!
