Jet Recommendations XR 650L with UNI, Powerbomb and Q4
Aug 20, 2020 · 25 minutes ago, XR650L_Dave said: The dynojet kit seems to work better for people who gas it hard and go, more open terrain stuff. I worked hard to make the kit work well on my bike, I do a lot of technical stuff where it has to run not as a raped ape but smoothly and predictably from idle to whatever, and the kit, with snorkel out, foam filter ...
Traded My XR650L For a CRF450L... First Impression
Dec 22, 2018 · The time I did spend in the dirt was fun. Im not sure how I truly feel about the bike yet, and I will update when I throw some 606's on and hit the trails. I just wanted to give a few initial thoughts on the bike in comparison coming off of an XR650L. I imagine there are many others wondering the same things I did before buying this bike.
What's The Best Fuel Tank - XR600R & XR650R/L - ThumperTalk
Aug 15, 2019 · I'm not happy with the capacity of the stock fuel tank on the XR650L, I've read bad reviews on nearly all the aftermarket large capacity fuel tanks, It all makes me want to throw my hands in the air and give up, I can't afford to buy several of those tanks until I find a good one, Can you guys he...
Cush hub - XR600R & XR650R/L - ThumperTalk
Mar 4, 2020 · This new TT is different than what I’m used to. No matter. Planning to buy a 650L this spring, with maybe 50/50 street/dirt mix. What’s currently available for a Cush hub? Looks to me this was a more available aftermarket product a few years ago.

May 27, 2007 · I am not mecahanicaly inclined and I checked my oil today in my xr650L and it is a little low. The manual for the XR650L recomends 10w30 oil but all stores are closed today. I have some (sae 20W-40/API SJ non-friction modified four stroke oil I use for my yamaha's (dirt and street). Can I add thi...
Best XR650L Exhaust Modification - XR600R & XR650R/L
Apr 11, 2002 · Hey 650L Riders! Am in the process of doing the air-filter, smog-removal, jetting-kit & exhaust upgrade to my 2002 XR650L. Any opinions on THE BEST exhaust option. I ordered the FMF slip-on with the rest of the upgrades from Baja Designs. I read on one site that there was fit problems with th...
Smog on smog off? Pros and cons - XR600R & XR650R/L
Apr 11, 2021 · Honestly I’ve never owned a Honda. I did have a 86 Yamaha tt600 that was a great bike and weight makes a difference. The addition of the carb and full exhaust is almost a necessary addition to the 650l. Factory the bike is way choked up for a big bore. Yes I would challenge my buddy’s 650 to that worn 600r. I think it runs that good.
Dave's mods - XR600R & XR650R/L - ThumperTalk
May 29, 2015 · I just finished Dave's mods yesterday -- Honda XR650L, carb (5/32, .025 needle shim) with mixture at 2 1/2 turns, 55 & 160 jets, smog removed, FMF Powercore exhaust, De-snorkeled, K&N filter I was already using. My first time to do stuff like this; especially, the carb.
Is the XR650L really that reliable? - ThumperTalk
Oct 16, 2007 · If you are concerned about heat, you easily add an oil cooler. The XR650L uses the down tube of the frame as an oil tank. The oil is circulated through the tank from top to bottom. Since the down tube is in front of the engine it acts as a cooler just by getting the oil away from the engine and having air on all 4 sides of the tank.
