Vishal Krishna Reddy (born 29 August 1977), [1] professionally known as Vishal, is an Indian actor and film producer who works in Tamil cinema. He also produces films under his production company, Vishal Film Factory. [2] Vishal was conferred with the Kalaimamani award in 2006, for his contributions to Tamil cinema. [3]

Vishal began his acting career with A.R. Gandhi Krishna 's directorial debut, Chellame (2004). His portrayal of Raghunandhan, an income tax officer, got positive reviews from critics. He next played the lead role in Sandakozhi (2005), an action film directed by N. Linguswamy.
