This medium-pressure fuel pump is driven by the end of the high-pressure pump shaft, and can generate 20" vacuum at the fuel inlet at high rpm. The gearotor pump is supplied fuel from the lift pump in the fuel tank.

Mar 17, 2025 · I have a 95 175hp p pump that is going on an older engine in place of a ve pump that is giving out on me. The engine (including the pump) was 100% stock, and was set at 12.5 degrees timing. I am thinking of setting it to about 17 degrees. The 12v Cummins engine (this one is getting the p pump) is in a old chevy school bus converted to a motorhome.
