Is HackerRank worth being involved in if you want a job?
Jan 16, 2021 · The truth is that solving a ton of hackerrank problems means that you understand how to analyze patterns when being presented with a problem prompt and are able to quickly decipher a pet problem into one of a finite set of simple computer science concepts and write some elementary code that demonstrates that.
Is hackerrank hard or am I just a bad programmer? - Reddit
Is hackerrank hard or am I just a bad programmer? I've been working through HackerRank (for like almost a year now) and recently I've been focusing on the mathematics, functional programming, and algorithms sections (I've already completed python and regex).
Why is hackerrank so awful? : r/cscareerquestions - Reddit
What my problem with Hackerrank is that forcing solution. I'm facing a 'Terminated due to timeout.' issue but Hackerrank won't tell me why is it slow just slow. Checking the solution on online and I didn't like the answer as it difficult to understand it and not helping an algorithmic thinking. Like a Python one liner which is 150+ character long.
Cheated on a hackerrank : r/csMajors - Reddit
Nov 8, 2022 · Hey, I had an interview for what I considered my dream company. It’s a prestigious startup doing exactly what I wanted. The screener call with a founding engineer went really well, the next step was a hackerrank. He said - you need a 100% to pass this stage. This really put pressure on. 5 mins to go, I have about half of the test cases not ...
Reminder: Don't cheat on Hackerrank. : r/cscareerquestions - Reddit
Nov 2, 2018 · Personally, Hackerrank screens are absolute fucking garbage. You either give them a phone interview or you don't. I get it that it allows to screen a large number of candidates, but I have failed countless Hackerranks from shit companies who expect you to solve 3 Leetcode hards in 60 mins that I doubt it's a very good way of weeding candidates.
Is HackerRank a good way to learn how to program?
HackerRank is good for learning the syntax of a new language. It is awful for teaching you anything to do with actual software engineering. If you're looking to improve your ability to perform well in a dev job, HackerRank is pretty much useless. Unfortunately, if you want a job, you're going to need to do HackerRank.
How do I get better at Hackerrank exams. : r/cscareerquestions
Recently graduated and I’m currently applying for software engineer roles. I’ve gotten to the first stage for multiple companies and they all send me a coding challenge to be completed on Hackerrank or Codility. Usually a 75 - 90 minute programming challenge. I’ve failed all …
Testes Hackerrank IBM : r/brdev - Reddit
JP Morgan Chase SWE HackerRank : r/csMajors - Reddit
Jan 16, 2024 · I am curious about the experiences of those who have interviewed with Chase. I have the chance to complete the first round consisting of two coding exercises, and I am preparing for them by solving LeetCode easy to medium-level Java questions. I would like to ask what I should expect from the HackerRank platform during this process. Thanks in ...
