Aug 13, 2016 · I'd be installing it on a 15' day sailor/dinghy and would use the existing jib cars, cleats and fairleads to secure it, along with a few extra fairleads to guide the bridle in the right direction. I'd probably use both cars, not just the one-sided system shown in the diagram, so adjustments could be made from either side of the cockpit.

Jan 24, 2005 · The old standby are Aigle's standard dinghy boot. They are pricey, but since 1994 I've owned 2 pairs, which have lasted through summer sailing, frostbiting, high school sailing and college sailing seasons, so the've seen hard use.

Mar 22, 2017 · I've seen jib furlers on a 15' dinghy and other small boats. They have their place; it depends what you want them for. I've also seen them fail. Storing your jib on one with the mast up is a good way to destroy it (whether from UV, or from sudden unfurling). I've also seen them simply fail to function when you need them.
