Oct 2, 2021 · @XfinityMary The show I was recording is The Price Is Right (the original Bill Cullen version) which is on Buzzr. But I think I know what's going on. Buzzr is a subchannel of WAGA, Atlanta which is our Fox affiliate. So at 10 AM, WAGA is bumping Buzzr and airing Standard definition simulcast of what's on their main channel.

Mar 28, 2020 · This is one of those networks that are carried on "subchannels" of other channels (the same with BUZZR, Decades, and a bunch of others). The problem is, with Xfinity's listings, they don't list the channel as "H&I" or "Heroes & Icons," but with the call letters of the station that carries it, usually followed by "DT" and a number.

Nov 17, 2022 · I don't have Ion Mystery either. Keep in mind that Ion is a broadcast network, like ABC or CBS, and Ion Mystery is a "subchannel" like, say, Buzzr, which has to be carried by a local station in order for it to be available to Xfinity. According to the Ion Mystery website, it is not available on Xfinity anywhere in Massachusetts.

Oct 2, 2022 · Channels like H&I, Grit, MeTV, Buzzr, and Laff aren't usually available to cable companies on a national level; instead, local stations that air them as "subchannels" make them available, and if they decide to get rid of a channel, Comcast can't air it in that area any more unless another station starts broadcasting it.
