Jul 14, 2015 · Here is a bug I've just recently noticed in 23.09 and which isn't fixed in the beta. On a Mac, if dark mode is enabled, printing the design info places a dark background behind a portion of the graphic of the rocket in the generated PDF (as shown below using the included example model rocket file). Xyla Foxlin Miss Fire (maybe build thread and) OpenRocket File
Dec 31, 2022 · I ordered Xyla's Miss Fire kit the day I saw it, and it arrived this week. Best GPS tracking system? - Model Rocketry Forums
Sep 8, 2019 · Pair it with a Black Aero receiver case and you can have a complete GPS tracker for less then $250. And that only requires you to carry one item to get you to rocket. Timing of a second stage? | Rocketry Forum - Model Rocketry …
Feb 19, 2025 · If two rockets are given the same initial speed and angle from the same starting altitude, the one with the higher ballistic coefficient goes farther. Note that the rocket with the smaller Cd will not necessarily go farther. With a multi-stage rocket, it'shelpful if the upper stage has a high ballistic coefficient.
Flight Computers: Accelerometers vs Barometric Sensors
Sep 17, 2018 · So, if your rocket corkscrews on the way up or goes significantly off-vertical then it's going to overstate the AGL altitude by a fair amount. Unless you're going over 60K, I'd personally trust the baro altitude figure over the accelerometer figure ALONE.
