Feb 17, 2025 · This is essentially the same as the Ruger backplate. Final ‘click’ in place with the EDP and striker in place was only possible by relieving pressure on the striker with my Glock tool, and pushing enthusiastically on the bottom of the SCD. You MUST file on both sides AND the top edge, all three, for the SCD to fit into the Ruger slide.

The only reason that I have not ordered one for the RMX is that I ordered a renowned Mitch Rosen from the Ruger Shop in Cuban Brown to match my Urban Carry gun belt when I ordered my OD Green grip.

Jan 18, 2025 · I'll check mine, also. I typically inspect and clean the striker channel and striker every 400-500 rounds, but dang. Kinda like Ruger is rushing a little hard, it would seem. Did it affect function at all? I didn't read you mentioning any failures. ETA: I'm assuming you did the email system thing to contact them. Just call them Monday.
