May 22, 2007 · To me, that is the magic of a Jazz bass, the sound of both pickups full on. They blend really good in the mix, maybe because certain frequencies get cancelled. That is the point, that the sound doesn't poke out like when running either pickup separately.

Nov 30, 2017 · It was an ex-rental and not looked after properly in the store. I plugged the bass into an ampeg amp I am familiar with and both the volume controls and tone knob did not make a difference in either volume or tone. There where no bass players there at the store and the rest of the staff did not know what was wrong.

The thin rosewood fretboard, the Olympic White finish, the tortoise pickguard, finger rest below the strings for those playing with their thumb and the logo all remind of a Fender from, let's say, 1963.
