Once you install the newer apps, as TuringTest said, you can no longer use iTunes to sync with your iPhone and must use the other apps. If you don't want to do that, uninstall those newer apps and go back to just using iTunes (which you may need to reinstall). Regards.

May 7, 2024 · iTunes does not store music in iCloud unless you are subscribed to either Apple Music or iTunes Match. If you are subscribed to iTunes Match, then it can work with the Apple Music app just fine, and access your library. To do this, you need to turn on the Sync Library option in the Apple Music app.

Jan 4, 2022 · iTunes 12.10.11.2 is the last version that runs on Windows 7 & 8. iTunes 12.12.2.2 is the current version for Windows 10 & 11. The iTunes download page doesn't tell you which version it is, you can download it and read the version number once you have it.
