Jan 25, 2009 · I can confirm that my 2nd generation 1GB iPod Shuffle does not work with 64-bit Windows 7 RC Build 7100. Windows 7 recognizes it and iTunes also recognizes it, however, when I go to put music on it, iTunes freezes for a couple minutes then when it becomes usable again it shows nothing on my Shuffle.

Jan 4, 2025 · Following the mid-December update to Apple Devices, my iPod Shuffle is no longer recognised. (It worked fine for the last year or so) The recent update (1.5.2.58) has not fixed this. I have seen other comments about iPhones not being recognised following the update, and removing the 'iPod support' software application fixed it for them.
